Dr. György Kalaus
Doctor of the  Hungarian Academy of Sciences, researching professor, head of the Research  Group of Alkaloid Chemistry of the Budapest University of Technology and  Economics, for his work focused on working out the effective agent of Cavinton,  a medicine that has been traded for three decades and that has achieved  outstanding therapeutic and economic results, as well as for his numerous other  activities carried out in order to develop a protected patent that is widely  used in the area of medical chemistry and that has also stood the test of  international weighing. 
Dr. György Marosi 
  Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences,  professor of the faculty of Organic Chemical Technology of the Budapest  University of Technology and Economics, for the development that he has carried  out at a high level in the pharmaceutical industry, in addition to his  university educational  activities, for  his major participation in elaborating new technologies, as well as for his  inventions realised in new technological solutions in the field of  combustion-stored polymer composites and nano-medicine, which have also won  several patents. 
Dr. Károly Reményi 
  A regular member of the Hungarian Academy of  Sciences, for his patent worked out with co-authors under the title  "Hybrid-fluidisation heating system". The importance of the procedure is that  the procedure described in the patent helps to solve, as well as to  significantly mitigate, the problems concerning the stability of heating, the  emission of harmful materials and the change in the quality of heating  materials. The patent has contributed to the increase of the effectiveness of  research and development activities in one of the major sectors of energy production,  as well as to the utilisation of the established innovation potentials.
